From my 2014 range this is number 12. This pendant began life as a solid 2mm thick sheet of pure titanium. Sawing the basic shape with my jewellers saw took a long long time - titanium is hard. I worked the titanium with a forging hammer on an anvil while it was red-hot, forming and shaping the piece. It took a lot of visits back into the blowtorch flame before it was ready.
I later created a rivet from sterling silver and set it into the titanium. The bail, as with all my handmade pendants, was hand-formed. It started as a rod of sterling silver and shaped with a hammer. It is fixed into place with another silver rivet. The back of the pendant I have left unpolished to show some of the hammer work.
The pendant is 42mm tall not including the bail and 15mm wide. The pendant will come with my handmade black leather necklace with sterling silver ends. I make the necklace 18 inches as standard but if you need a different length please say in the comments box during the checkout and I will make a custom length necklace for you and fit the pendant onto it.
