Inspired by the ancient Spartan warriors who stood their ground against overwhelming odds at the battle of Thermopylae. This shield necklace is entirely made by hand in our workshop in England. 2 sheets of hand-sawn copper are beaten and shaped into a dome and fused together using silver. The central dome is given an aged patina and the surround is brushed. The shield is 35mm wide. The pendant comes on an 18 inch fine leather necklace (the leather is 3mm wide) with sterling silver ends and clasp (if you need a different length just mention it in the comments box during checkout). This necklace is a proudly-crafted, one-off original.
